Scheduling for my classes next year is looking pretty good!

I can take History of Theatre for my major and Creative Non-Fiction Writing for my minor, and then I basically get two electives so I’m thinking about taking Contemporary Fabulist Fiction because it’s taught by one of my favorite professors. I’m not even sure what Fabulist really is. I think it has to do with Fables, so that’s pretty interesting.

And then my advisor says I can do an independent study in Sound Design!! So I’m pretty psyched about that.

Centre Term is looking fuzzy. Nothing really interests me. There’s a class on the Theology of Harry Potter which I could do, and then another on Technology and Society that looks interesting. IDK though

Spring Term there’s a class called “Silence and Sound In Film” and seeing as that’s kind of what I’m interested in as a future I’m for sure gonna take that. And then Intermediate Fiction Writing, and my Senior Seminar for Theatre. Not sure about a 4th class but I’ve got awhile.

Senior year. Holy fucking crap. I can’t handle it.

Dealing with housing for next year while abroad may be literally my least favorite thing.

Gah I’m back at college and I had Huddle House for dinner with 4 other people and then we all went back to the campus and played guitar hero and then EVERYONE showed up and there were like 12 of my closest friends crammed into that tiny room and gah I love my friends so much and i just

Oh man I’m basically cruising until finals week.

Just got my classes on Thursday then I’m done. I really just have to focus on my final essays and projects. I only have one real exam, so this is gonna be the easiest finals week I’ve ever had at Centre. Pretty psyched about it.

I had a headache this morning so I didn’t go to my morning classes. Maybe because I got to sleep more I’ll be less cranky without a nap.

My play, Slop Culture, is going up tonight! I’m equal parts scared and excited about it.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting in class listening to a presentation that’s only supposed to be 30 minutes long, but this group made theirs almost an hour somehow. Come on guys!

Welp, I left my Macbook charger in the Atlanta airport.

FUCK.

Centre college people - If anyone has a spare Macbook charger I can borrow until I can get to Lexington tomorrow to buy a new one I would love you forever!!

There’s a guy from Centre sitting across from me at the gate. I smiled and said “Hi” because I’ve seen him around. I don’t know him…I hope he’s seen me around too or I just came off as really weird.

Just did a Degree Audit and after this year, I will only have 4 more classes to take to complete my major and my minor, one of these being my Dramatic Arts Senior Seminar.

That means I get 4 “whatever the fuck I wanna take” classes.

Yeah. Dramatic Arts major, Creative Writing minor.

Good thing I’m a technical theatre person and not an actor. Otherwise I’d be SO broke.

Just celebrated the Obama win by streaking across campus with good friends while yelling “FOUR MORE YEARS!!”

I’ve recently discovered that at Centre College, you can talk to anyone, during any week of the school year and say:

“Man…This week.”
and shake your head and look really forlorn

and they’ll nod and say something like
“I know. This is just such a rough time!”

All of the times are rough here. ALL OF THE TIMES.

Working for MSNBC during the debate was tons of fun and I was on national news and everything! So great!!
